Coverpage

This is obviously a picture of a magazine cover that was mailed to my mom's house. The fact that they made this lady look like she doesn't even like children and put her on the cover of a Parenting magazine attracted me to this piece. I think that the layout was a bit too much. There are a lot of words everywhere making it slightly crowded for my liking.

ANNOYING!!!!

This is an ad out of a magazine about children's medicine. It is cleverly stating how their medicine is safe for children. I was attracted to the statement it made; I thought it was funny. The design was bold, playful, and innovative all at the same time.

Coca-Cola

This is an ad for Coca-Cola out of a magazine I have at home. This ad does a good job of advertising the product as well as suggestive selling the Playstation game "Everybody Dance". The balance in this picture attracted me to the piece. Even before the image was cropped, my attention went straight to the Coca-Cola bottles.

MOTHER'S DAY CARD

This is a picture of a Mother's Day card. It was given to me by my mom "from" my four-year old daughter since she couldn't actually buy me one herself. The artwork on here is pretty good. Its nice that the font for the word "Mother" is a different font from the rest of the type on the card. This makes the word stand out more. I was attracted to the piece because it was a gift for me.
